Converging Wishes: The Ocean Wonderer

When people are in a rush, the tides also ebb and flow. What remains and what is taken away? When people move away from a place, their memories link them back to that place they once called home. If shells, seaweed, and fish bones are the memory fragments of the ocean. Like the ocean which is constantly displacing these fragments, humans too will be displaced by the impacts of climate change and sea level rise. What are the objects that people leave behind which imbedde memory of their home?

The glass house facing the shore is placed where people can observe and meditate on the rise and fall of the tides. As the waves ebb and flow it leaves objects in the house. Each of these objects has it’s own story.
